These Terms & Conditions apply to all training courses delivered by Flying Tots Childcare, including but not limited to Paediatric First Aid, Customer Service Training, and Fly Nanny Chaperone programmes.
By registering interest and/or making payment for any training course, you agree to the following terms.
Booking & Confirmation
- All course places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Submission of a “Register Interest” form does not guarantee a place.
- A place is only confirmed once payment (full or deposit) has been received.
- Flying Tots reserves the right to decline or withdraw a place at its discretion.
Payment Terms
- Payment can be made in full or via a 50% deposit (where applicable).
- Where a deposit is paid, the remaining balance must be settled no later than 7 days prior to the course date.
- Failure to complete payment within this timeframe may result in loss of the reserved place.
- All payments must be made via the official Flying Tots payment page.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the course may be eligible for a partial refund (excluding deposit).
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the course are non-refundable.
- Non-attendance on the day of training will be treated as a late cancellation and is non-refundable.
- Flying Tots may, at its discretion, offer a transfer to a future course where appropriate.
Transfers & Substitutions
- Requests to transfer to another course date must be made in writing.
- Transfers are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
- A substitute participant may attend in place of the original booking, provided sufficient notice is given and details are approved in advance.
Course Changes & Cancellations by Flying Tots
- Flying Tots reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances, including low enrolment, trainer availability, or venue issues.
- In such cases, participants will be offered:
- An alternative date, or
- A full refund
- Flying Tots is not liable for any additional costs incurred (e.g. travel, accommodation).
Attendance & Punctuality
- Participants are expected to arrive on time and attend the full duration of the course.
- Late arrival may result in refusal of entry or inability to complete certification requirements.
- No refunds will be given in such cases.
Certification
- Certificates (where applicable) will only be issued upon:
- Full attendance
- Successful completion of course requirements
- Flying Tots is not responsible for delays caused by external awarding bodies.
Health, Safety & Participation
- Participants confirm they are fit to take part in training, including any practical elements.
- Any relevant medical conditions or injuries must be disclosed prior to the course.
- Flying Tots reserves the right to refuse participation if safety is a concern.
Professional Conduct
- All participants are expected to behave in a respectful and professional manner.
- Flying Tots reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is disruptive or inappropriate.
- No refund will be issued in such cases.
Liability Disclaimer
- Training is delivered to a high professional standard in line with current guidelines and best practice.
- Flying Tots accepts no liability for how skills or knowledge are applied outside of the training environment.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flying Tots shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss.
Data Protection (UK GDPR)
- Personal information collected during registration and booking will be used solely for:
- Course administration
- Communication regarding training
- Flying Tots will not share personal data with third parties without consent, unless required by law.
Intellectual Property
- All training materials remain the property of Flying Tots Childcare.
- Materials must not be copied, distributed, or reproduced without prior written permission.
Agreement
- By registering interest and/or completing payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
