Flying Tots Childcare is delighted to present an exceptional opportunity for an experienced childcare professional to join a warm, welcoming and professional aviation family with two daughters aged 9 and 12.
We are seeking a highly organised, dependable and nurturing Fly Nanny Chaperone® / Home-Based Nanny who can provide consistency, reassurance and outstanding childcare support within a busy family environment.

They are looking for a childcare professional who can become a trusted and dependable presence in their daughters’ lives, providing continuity, support and reassurance whilst parents travel for work.

Working Pattern
Typical term-time hours are anticipated to be:
🌅 Morning 7:00am – 8:30am
🌙 Afternoon / Evening 4:00pm – 7:00pm
Additional requirements include:
✈️ Approximately 10–15 overnight stays per month
✈️ Occasional weekend support
✈️ Monthly schedules provided in advance wherever possible
✈️Flexibility around changing aviation travel schedules
Due to the nature of the family’s work commitments, reliability, flexibility and excellent communication are essential.
The families preference is for a live out arrangement.
Salary & Benefits
Competitive package of *£2,500–£3,000 gross per month,depending on experience, qualifications, flexibility and suitability for the role.
The package reflects both the childcare hours required and the commitment to supporting an aviation family’s schedule.
Included within the role:
- Approximately 10–15 overnight stays per month
- Enhanced Bank Holiday rates where applicable
- Additional remuneration for agreed extended daytime or weekend care
- Secure long-term placement with a professional and appreciative family
This role may particularly appeal to experienced nannies seeking a better work-life balance than a traditional full-time position whilst maintaining a consistent and rewarding long-term placement.
*Based on an equivalent childcare rate of approximately £20 gross per hour, together with regular overnight care, flexibility and commitment to the family’s monthly schedule.

We are looking for someone who is..
✔ Experienced with school-aged children
✔ Professional, organised and reliable
✔ A confident driver with a full UK licence (own vehicle preferred, although this maybe provided)
✔ Level 3 Paediatric First Aid qualification
✔ Enhanced DBS checked
✔ Flexible and able to work independently
✔ Passionate about providing exceptional childcare
✔ Outstanding Customer Service for Nannies & Chaperones Training (or willingness to undertake with Flying Tots)
