EXPERIENCED SUPPORT WORKER REQUIRED IN OXFORDSHIRE ASAP
Flying Tots is seeking an experienced support worker to care for a young adult in his daily activities and outings,
ensuring his safety and assisting him to become independent, both at home and on local trips.
Hours: 20 per week
Start: ASAP: JULY & Aug ’21.
Driving is required and the use of public transport ensuring his safety and wellbeing,
facilitating his social participation and teaching him skills towards independence.
Must have a good level of understanding of Autism, and support in social settings around the home and local community.
- Background in Social Care, Psychology, OT, SALT, Education, or a related field
- Understanding of autism/ADHD
- Experience of working with children and young people with autism or other disabilities
- Provision of snacks/meals and organising of various activities in and outside the family home.
